Dress is made from Duchesse satin, a soft, heavy lustrous fabric. It comes with an in-built corset that pulls you in and shows off your figure. The underskirt has an added piece connected with velcro at the bum to prop up the train but this can be removed and I had ties put in so it can be bustled up. I had the dress fully dry cleaned and boxed and there is a tear in the lining of the dress under the train – but this could be sewn up and no one would see it as it's in the lining.
