Duchess satin gown (real silk) with lace bodice and three quarter length sleeves; sweetheart neckline; train that can be pinned up; button detail on back; ideal for hourglass figure or Kate Middleton style. This gown was made especially for me by Ernest Perryman to suit my curvy size 12-14 figure. It shows off my best assets and was perfect for a summer wedding while still being classy. The three-quarter length lace arms are sophisticated and also great for anyone who doesn’t want to show off bare arms in photos. The lace is continued from the bodice onto the skirt, creating a beautiful, unique effect. Everyone at the wedding was very impressed by this dress and I also found it very easy to move around in and dance in. There is an invisible zip on the back but the boned bodice gives it a corset effect. The buttons on the back make it a great dress to photograph from behind too, as does the train, which can be pinned up for convenience. The dress has been dry-cleaned professionally since the wedding and is in excellent condition. It should be tried on but could probably be altered a size up or down by a reputable dressmaker.
Size 12-14; bodice 38 inches, waist 31 inches, hips 38 inches. Can be altered.
