Alterations:	This dress is labelled a size 8 but was more like a size 10 when purchased. (The original wearer was a size 8 - 10 when purchased). It was taken in by one inch on both sides and the material is still there to be let out if needed

This beautiful dress has a gauze overdress sewn onto it, which is decorated with pink and platinum-coloured beaded ivy leaves and berries. Weaving their way over the shoulders and around the bosom and upper back, this decorative embellishment also graces the skirt of the dress from floor to mid-thigh. The dress is fitted from the ribcage up, leaving the wearer able to dance freely throughout the day and night. At the back, the dress shows off the bride’s youthful upper back, and is fastened by 16 buttons. A slight train on the back of the dress cuts an elegant look as the bride walks up the aisle, and can be elevated with one simple button for the dance floor later on.
