Anna Kara Tissaia

Height:	Bride 5’5’’ in 2’’ heels
Alterations:	No alterations to the fit of the dress. It is a bridal size 14 (I would say it is closer to a 12 and I am an E cup). The designer made a couple of alterations to the original design when it was made at the Anna Kara studio. The v-neck at the front and the back were made two inches higher than the original to give a bit more coverage (October wedding in Ireland!). The wonderful seamstress Liesa O’K Alterations in Kilkenny then made a couple of tweaks to the dress to make it easier to wear. Fabric from the dress was added to cover the lace back so bra straps couldn’t be seen, but this can be removed so it is fully see-through if you didn’t want to wear a normal bra (see designer photos for what it looked like before). Bra strap loops were also added inside. The sleeves were taken up a couple of inches and elastic added to keep them up for photos! Finally, the length was altered to my height (5’5 and wore 2 inch heels)

Anna Kara dress was bought in Folkster in Kilkenny. Simple design with beautiful lace balloon sleeves. Very comfortable dress to wear and a normal bra can be worn. Only worn for a couple of hours (COVID wedding!) so I would love to see it get another day out with another bride. It located in Kilkenny.
